I was thinking about the saying "The truth will set you free", and thinking about open source software at the same time. I thought to myself, "The free will set you true" - so i google'd it.
"The free will set you true" had only one google search result at 02:36 18th November 2012 when i posted this, but now has 2 (18th November 2012 at 13:30).
My initial advice for anyone thinking about using a Laptop or Computer for anything, is as follows.
1.) ALWAYS make a backup
2.) Choose a strong password. If you can't google it, it's inherently safer.
(Sadly, "!=Table5a1t" is now at 5 results, 3 more since I posted mine.)
I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Technology Specialist and Professional, working as a 2nd Line Engineer in Gloucestershire.
I have grown up with computers, and I have grown up with Microsoft Windows, having supported users from version 3.1 all the way to the present day with Windows 7, and Small Business Server 2011.
My experience is drawn from helping with I.T. while at school, work experience for a local "one man band" business, then exclusively contracted to a multi-national repairing EPoS, Printers, Laptops, Desktops & Servers throughout North-West England, to working as an IT & Telecoms Engineer installing & supporting client-server networks, PABX systems, and network cabling for an I.T. Services Provider based in West Cumbria.
