   These are a handful of projects I am working on at the moment: (most projects I am working on are of a commercial sensitive nature so I cannot currently provide any detail.)

   • Project - This website - allanwallace.co.uk
     My most recent addition to the underlying PHP code for this site - a facebook "like" button that basis itself on pagename and location - is this:

NOTE: You have to change "www.allanwallace.co.uk" to the domain name of your server - there's probably a simpler way, but this works.

The "Facebook like button" Looks like this:

   • Project - LD50.co.uk Website - originally built to promote West Cumbrian Bands & Musicians, the LD50.co.uk Website became a point in webspace for Cumbrian Musicians to co-operate
     in the creation, promotion, & recording of West Cumbrian Band & Musicians

   • Project - LD50.co.uk on YouTube - this YouTube account was created to promote West Cumbrian bands & Musicians by showing video footage / music videos of the bands involved.
     As part of this, I recorded & edited of many hours of video footage and multi-track audio of multiple bands over several events, and learnt a little about film-making in the process.
     Unfortunately, due work committments, progress is slow.

   • Project - Curiosity: (an experiment in Search Engine Optimisation for Google.co.uk)
     As of 6th June 2011, There are approximately 417,000 results for a Google search for whitehaven takeaway - Update 10th July 2011 - Google now shows "about 357,000"
     Up until 00:16am (BST) on 7th June 2011, there has been no content on this website regarding Whitehaven's Take-aways, nor the food they have to offer.
     This experiment, is to see if I can hit page one on the Google Search for Whitehaven Takeaway in only one month from today.
     The question is, will it make it to page one in time?

     • Updated 10th July 2011: The answer is no, not in time!
     - My Whitehaven Takeaways page on the LD50.co.uk Website is now at page 1 of a Google Search for Whitehaven Takeaway - this was on the 8th July, some 48 hours late.

     • Updated: 1st July 2011 - My Whitehaven Takeaways page on the LD50.co.uk Website is now up to page 2 of a Google Search for Whitehaven Takeaway
