Allan Wallace - Hobbies - Scuba Diving Scuba Diving I started learning to dive when I was 13 - though i didn't use Scuba equipment until I was 14, I figured it was best to swot up a bit first. I'd always had an interest in the sea, lakes, and marine life, and scuba diving seemed to be a fanastic way of seeing marine life in it's own habitat. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Sharm-el-Sheik in Egypt, on the red sea coast when I was 15, and was amazed at the abundance of Lion Fish, and the acceleration of a Barracuda. I don't have time to go diving much at the moment, but i've enjoyed diving at St Abbs relatively recently, where I had some of the easiest and most enjoyable diving i've had for a long time. |
