Allan Wallace - Utilities I needed the ability to search the folders & files that contain my development websites for matching text within files, and after some trial and error I was able to create these two very simple registry files for Windows XP's built-in search (not the updated one) - one for ASP files, the other for PHP. (Always make a backup of the relevant registry entries first.) These are for Windows XP, and I have not tested them on other versions of Windows. You should get prompted "Run" "Save" or "Cancel" - i suggest save them, then viw them. (You can view the .reg files with Notepad to see which entries are affected.) • ASP Search - This set of registry entries enables Windows Explorer to search for matching text within .ASP files. (Tested on Windows XP) • PHP Search - This set of registry entries enables Windows Explorer to search for matching text within .PHP files. (Tested on Windows XP) ADSL Fault diagnostic utilities that have proven very useful, and are free: • RouterStats - RouterStats monitors both the downstream and upstream Noise Margin and Connection Speed values and plots them on graphs. RouterStats also provides two additional user-defined graphs for monitoring any other two values that may be available on your router's "stats" page.
